Manfred Feldmüller (born April 22, 1940 , nickname: "Mouse") is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

Career

Manfred Feldmüller played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern when he was young and was a goalkeeper at the beginning of his career. In the men's team, in which he moved up in 1960, there was an oversupply of goalkeepers, so he switched to the position of striker. In both positions he was appointed to the Southwest selection. In his first season in the Oberliga team, 1960/61 , he scored eleven goals in 24 league games. He led the internal goalscorer list of the FCK under coach Richard Schneider in front of Winfried Richter with nine goals. He made his debut on the first round matchday, August 14, 1960, with a 1-1 at Spfrde. Saarbrücken in the league. He stormed the right winger and also scored the goal for Kaiserslautern. The cup games developed into the sporting highlight. He was in all four games in the Südwestpokal, then also in the DFB Cup . The attacker represented the Lauterer colors in the successes against Heider SV (2: 0), Tasmania Berlin (2: 1 n. V.) and also in the semifinals in the 2: 1 success at Spfrde. Hamborn 07 . In the final on September 13, 1961 in Gelsenkirchen, Werder Bremen won 2-0. In the following seasons, however, his working hours under Schneider's successor Günter Brocker were reduced . On the 22nd matchday of the last league season (1962/63) he was needed again as a goalkeeper when he stepped in for the injured Wolfgang Schnarr in the 78th minute . To the championship success in 1963 , he had contributed five goals in eleven games.

After the introduction of the Bundesliga , he played one more game for FCK in the 1963/64 season before moving to the ambitious amateur club SV Alsenborn . Initially, however, he was banned for 18 months after his professional contract was returned. With Alsenborn he rose in 1964/65 as a champion of the 1st amateur league southwest in the second-class regional soccer league southwest . He was a member of the SVA championship teams in 1968 , 1969 and 1970 . In the three rounds of promotion to the Bundesliga, he played 22 games and scored eight goals. However, the ascent was ultimately not achieved. For Feldmüller, there are 141 league games with 45 goals in the statistics from 1965 to 1970 in the Regionalliga Südwest.

Today (2011) Feldmüller is coach of the regional division TuS Landstuhl after five years in China for professional reasons .
