Manfred Feulner

Manfred Feulner (* 1922 ; † 2011 ) was a German high school teacher , non-fiction author and community archivist from Berchtesgaden . He published numerous historical and local history books .

Life

Manfred Feulner received his doctorate in 1956 at the Munich University of Applied Sciences , the title of his dissertation written for the Faculty of Natural Sciences was terrace examinations on the Munich low terrace . Until his retirement as director of studies, he primarily taught the subjects of German, geography and history at the Berchtesgaden grammar school . He lived with his family in the Berchtesgaden district of Am Etzerschlössl .

His non-fiction book publications, some of which appeared in several editions, dealt among other things. a. with the historical development of the Berchtesgadener Land from the monastery of Berchtesgaden to the empire-direct and thus independent prince-provost of Berchtesgaden for several centuries . As a long-standing member of the local history association of the Berchtesgadener Land (today: Heimatkundeverein Berchtesgaden eV ), he also had numerous publications in the publication series of the local history association.
