Manfred Kriener

Manfred Kriener (born November 22, 1953 in Schramberg ) is a German journalist and author who belongs to the founding generation of the daily newspaper taz . He mainly deals with the environment and environmental policy, nutrition issues and is also a wine journalist . Kriener has lived in Berlin since 1980.

Life

Kriener has been working as a journalist since 1975. From 1980 to 1990 he was taz editor for ecology . Since 1990 he has been a freelance journalist for the environment and science. He was a member of the now closed journalist office Contrapunkt and is currently a member of textetage.

Kriener was editor-in-chief of the Slow Food magazine from August 2001 to 2006 and has been editor-in-chief of the environmental magazine zeo2 together with Marcus Franken since 2008 . Kriener has been married since 2001.
