Manfred Ludwig

Manfred Ludwig (born December 15, 1936 in Munich ) is a German game author of children's and family games .

Life

Ludwig moved to Regensburg in 1964 , where he initially worked as a teacher at a grammar school before he began developing his own games. Ludwig's first published game, Dangerous Bridges , was published by Spear in 1976 . In 1983 the board game Fuzzi, Heinz and Schlendrian was on the selection list for Game of the Year . Other publications followed, including Nimmersatt (1987), Flußaufwärts (1988) and Wörtersee (1998). The game Highly Suspicious! was awarded the German Children's Games Prize and the Austrian Prize "Spiel der Spiele - Spiele Hit für Kinder “and it was nominated as Children's Game of the Year . The author finally received this award in 2003 for Viva Topo! and again in 2010 for Diego Drachenzahn , and in 2006 Piratissimo was another title on the nomination list. Viva Topo! , Piratissimo and Diego Drachenzahn were also named “Game of Games - Games Hit for Children”.
