Manfred Reindl

Manfred Reindl (born October 10, 1965 ) is an Austrian game designer .

Life

Manfred Reindl is particularly interested in the development of entertaining children's and family games. His main job is as a product manager in a regional bank in Linz . His first game “Something is wrong” was published in autumn 2005 as an educational game at HABA. A total of around 20 games have appeared in recent years. The focus of his games are special mechanisms or interesting gimmicks that make his games exciting and unique.

Manfred Reindl enjoys working with other game designers. The most successful collaboration is with Stefan Dorra . In recent years, both authors have jointly developed and published ten children's and family games. With the skill game in the barbecue area called Feuer & Flamme , which was published in 2013 , they were awarded the “Special Prize - Game of Games ” by the Vienna Games Academy and the games Zieh Leine, Flynn and Dschungelbande were recommended for the children's game of the year 2014 and recorded in 2016.

There is also further collaboration with fellow authors Wolfgang Dirscherl, Guido Hoffmann , Silke Briedl and Harald Mini .

Manfred Reindl lives with his family in Tragwein , Upper Austria.
