Stefan Dorra

Stefan H. Dorra (born July 30, 1958 in Soltau ) is a German game designer .

Life

Stefan Dorra studied at the Leibniz University Hannover and works as a speech therapy teacher at a special school with physically handicapped students. He lives near Hildesheim and invents board, card and children's games as a part-time job. Stefan Dorra is married and has four children.

Dorra's first game, Razzia, was published by Ravensburger Spieleverlag in 1992 and made it onto the selection list for the Game of the Year critics award . Other excellent card games, children's games and board games followed. Dorra has now published over 50 board games, most of which have also been published by foreign publishers. Several games were created together with other game authors. Manfred Reindl and Stefan Dorra deal in particular with the development of new children's games. In the collaboration between Ralf zur Linde and Stefan Dorra, several interesting and somewhat more complex board and family games were created.
