The list of the team cadres of the Polish team championship in chess 1956 contains all players who were used at least once in the final round of the Polish team championship in chess 1956 .
While Start Łódź used the same seven players in all competitions, eleven players played at least one game at DWP Warszawa. In total (without taking into account the ZS Włókniarz Łódź, who withdrew his team during the competition) 94 players were used, of which at least 14 took part in all competitions.
The best point player was Wiktor Balcerak (Start Katowice) with 9 points from 10 games. Mirosława Litmanowicz (DWP Warszawa) scored 8 points out of 10 games, W.Michalak (AZS Warszawa) and Krystyna Hołuj (AZS Gliwice) scored 7.5 points, Michalak played 9 games and Hołuj 10.
