The list of team squads of the Ekstraliga (chess) 2006 contains all players who were registered for the Polish Ekstraliga in chess 2006 with their individual results.
The participating teams were allowed to register as many substitutes as they wanted in addition to six regular players (a woman had to be placed on board 6). While JKSz MCKiS Jaworzno reported seven players, PTSz Płock's roster consisted of eleven players. Not all of the registered players were used. While AZS UMCS Lublin, KSz Juvena Hańcza Suwałki, WASKO HetMaN Szopienice and GKSz Polfa Grodzisk Mazowiecki used the same six players in all competitions, all nine registered players played at least one game for KSz Rzemiosło Racibórz. A total of 70 of the 89 registered players were used, 48 of whom competed in all competitions.
The best players with 7.5 points from 9 games each were Łukasz Cyborowski and Grzegorz Gajewski (both Lublin), Mateusz Bartel (Polonia Warszawa) and Tomasz Warakomski (Suwałki) achieved 7 points each from 9 games . No player achieved 100%, Monika Soćko (Polonia Warszawa) achieved the best percentage result with 5.5 points from 6 games.
