Beata Zawadzka (born June 26, 1986 in Warsaw as Beata Kądziołka ) is a Polish chess player .

Life

At the Polish U14 championship of female youth in 2000 in Biała, Powiat Piotrkowski , she was third. In 1998 and 2000 she came second at the Polish junior championships in blitz chess . In 2001 she was third in the U16 championship in Zakopane , which she could win in 2002 in Bartkowa, Powiat Nowosądecki . In 2002 she also reached third place at the U16 European Junior Championships , the Polish Women's Championship in Blitz Chess in Rybnik and the Polish Women's Individual Championship in Ostrów Wielkopolski . In 2003 she took part for the U18 national team of female youth at the European Team Championship in Balatonlelle , Hungary , and came second at the Polish U20 Championship in Jarnołtówek near Głuchołazy . At the Polish women's individual championship in 2003 in Środa Wielkopolska and in 2004 in Warsaw, she was third. She was able to repeat her second place in the Polish U20 championship in 2004 in Środa Wielkopolska. At the U20 Women 's World Cup in Istanbul in 2005 , she reached third place. In 2010 she won the women's championship at the Najdorf memorial tournament ( Mieczsława Najdorfa ) in Warsaw ahead of Monika Soćko .

She received the title of International Women's Champion (WIM) in 2002. Since 2006 she has been the Women's Grand Master (WGM). She achieved the norms for her WGM title at the Polish women's individual championship 2004, the 12th International Lasker Memorial 2004 in Barlinek and the U20 world championship for girls in 2005. At the Open International Bavarian Championship in 2007 in Bad Wiessee , she achieved an IM norm .

Zawadzka is married to Stanisław Zawadzki , who has the title of International Master , and Jolanta Zawadzka , who has the WGM title, is her sister-in-law.

National team

With the Polish women's team Zawadzka took part in the chess Olympiads in 2002 in Bled (in which the team reached third place) and in 2010 in Khanty-Mansiysk as a reserve player. At the 2013 European Team Championship in Warsaw, she played on the second board of the third Polish women's team.

In the German women's league, Zawadzka played from the 2006/07 season to the 2010/11 season for Hamburg SK . In Poland she won the Polish team championship with Polonia Warsaw in 2006 in Ustroń . In 2004 she played for the second team of Polonia Warsaw , in 2007 she played again for the first team of Polonia Warsaw . 2010 to 2012 and again in 2016 she occupied the women's board at KSz Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski , with whom she also participated in the Polish women's team championship from 2009 to 2011. She won this with PREFROW MKSz Rybnik in 2008 in Breslau .
