The list of the team squads of the Ekstraliga (chess) 2005 contains all players who were registered for the Polish Ekstraliga in chess 2005 with their individual results.
The participating teams were allowed to register as many substitutes as they wanted in addition to six regular players (a woman had to be placed on board 6). While AZS UMCS Lublin and KSz Juvena Hańcza Suwałki refrained from reporting substitutes, KSz HetMaN Szopienice and KS Pocztowiec TP SA Poznań each reported 13 players. Not all of the registered players were used. In addition to AZS UMCS Lublin and KSz Juvena Hańcza Suwałki, KS Polonia Plus GSM Warszawa, JKSz MCKiS Jaworzno and ZKS Zelmer Rzeszów used the same six players in all competitions, while at KS Pocztowiec TP SA Poznań nine players played at least one game. A total of 69 of the 94 registered players were used, 46 of whom competed in all competitions.
The best players with 7.5 points from 9 games each were David Navara (Szopienice) and Iweta Radziewicz (Grodzisk Mazowiecki). None of the players achieved 100%, the best percentage was achieved by Adam Deszczyński (Grodzisk Mazowiecki), along with Navara and Radziewicz, with 2.5 points from 3 games.
