Manny Jacinto (born Manuel Luis Jacinto on August 19, 1987 in Manila , Philippines ) is a Filipino- Canadian actor .

life and career

Jacinto was born on August 19, 1987 in Manila , Philippines . However, his family emigrated to Canada when he was 3 years old and he grew up in Richmond , British Columbia . There he liked to play basketball . After high school he studied civil engineering at the University of British Columbia and graduated with a bachelor's degree . He was also participating in hip-hop competitions at the time , and it was there that he discovered his interest in acting.

He made his first television appearance in 2013 in the series Once Upon a Time as Quon. He later took on other small roles in television series and films. He then got bigger roles, such as the lead role Jason Mendoza in the television series The Good Place , for which he received a lot of positive reviews.

Manny was nominated for The Romeo Section for the Leo Award for Best Supporting Appearance in a Dramatic Scene.
