Manuel Zarzo

Manuel López Zarzo (also Manolo Zarzo ; born April 26, 1932 in Madrid ) is a Spanish actor .

Life

Zarzo appeared at a very young age after training in speaking, singing and dancing in touring theater , until 1948 with “Los Chavalillos de España” and made his first film in 1951; under Antonio Del Amo he played in Día tras día . However, he did not succeed in establishing himself in film at first, so he returned to the theater. In 1957 he began a long series of character portrayals; to date he has been seen in almost 200 roles. He appeared particularly often in comedies and spaghetti westerns .

Zarzo's three children are also active as actors.
