Maria Moreno

María Moreno , née María del Pilar Moreno Blasco (born May 14, 1933 in Madrid ; † February 17, 2020 there ) was a painter of Spanish realism .

life and work

Moreno was born in Madrid in 1933 and painted in the tradition of the Spanish realists, whose characteristics include technical perfection and the realistic representation of contemporary events.

The motifs and subjects are unpretentious: interiors , still lifes , studio scenes , human figures and landscapes .

Important representatives of Spanish realism are María Moreno Isabel Quintanilla (* 1938), Antonio López Garcia (* 1936), Francisco López Hernández (* 1932) and Salustiano (* 1965).
