David Bowe (born January 4, 1964 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Bowe began his career in the mid-1980s with a guest appearance on the television series An Angel on Earth . He made his feature film debut in 1987 in the comedy High Life on the beach alongside Frankie Avalon . He played his biggest film role to date in 1989, alongside Weird Al Yankovic, in the comedy UHF - Broadcasters with Limited Hope , where he was seen as Bob's best friend and business partner . He subsequently had a few small to medium-sized roles in hit Hollywood films , including Air America , A Matter of Honor , Made in America, and The Rock . Since the end of the 1990s, he has only seldom received film roles, instead he has now increasingly appeared on television again and has appeared in guest roles in various series such as Dr. House , Mad Men and Grey's Anatomy with.
