Mara Hobel (born June 18, 1971 in New York City ) is an American actress .

Life

Hobel and her husband Mark Furrer have a daughter, Autumn Hope Hobel-Furrer, born on October 6, 2000.

Act

She made her debut as an actress in 1979 in an episode of the television series 3 by Cheever in the role of Amy Lawton. She is known for, among other things, Oliver Stone's 1981 horror film The Hand in the role of Lizzie Lansdale and Frank Perry's film Meine liebe Rabenmutter in which she plays the young Christina Crawford at the side of Faye Dunaway . In 1982 she was nominated for the Golden Raspberry in two categories for the role in My Dear Raven Mother , as worst newcomer and as worst supporting actress. She has also appeared in a number of television series. So she played the role of Charlotte Tilden in five episodes of the series Roseanne .

From February 4, 1997 to September 25, 2002, she operated Mara Hobel's Rising Star Production Co., Inc. in New York City.
