Marc-Oliver Schuster (* 1974 in Gifhorn ), also known as Katzen , is a German author, presenter and slampoet .

Act

In 1999, Schuster and Misha Verollet founded the Bielefeld author collective “Popkombinat” , from which the “Writeclub” emerged. Schuster has been appearing at poetry slams with short stories and lyrics since 2003. Before that, he had already worked as a creative, including as an author for the Harald Schmidt Show and as a presenter at the RTL Shop . Markus Freise has been illustrating his alter ego "cat" since 2009 . In 2010 he reached the final of the NRW Slam in Bielefeld , and in 2013 he co-organized the German-language Poetry Slam Championships in Bielefeld, the largest stage literature festival of the year. In East Westphalia he is responsible for the pub quiz series “Katzenquiz mit Kneipe”, and also moderates various poetry slams and other cultural events, for example in Detmold , Bad Salzuflen , Bielefeld, Lippstadt and Paderborn . Together with Karsten Strack, Schuster publishes various so-called “word posters” with regional vocabulary.

Marc-Oliver Schuster currently lives in Detmold and also works as a stadium manager at DSC Arminia Bielefeld .
