Marc Piollet

Marc Piollet (* 1962 in Paris ) is a French conductor . From 2004 to 2012 he was general music director at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden .

Live and act

Piollet studied choral conducting and conducting with Hans-Martin Rabenstein at the Berlin University of the Arts . He took master classes with John Eliot Gardiner , Michael Gielen , Kurt Masur and Lothar Zagrosek . After completing his studies, he was employed as first conductor at the Philharmonic State Orchestra in Halle and at the State Theater in Kassel , where he also worked as deputy general music director. He subsequently received an engagement at the Vienna Volksoper . In 2004 Piollet became general music director at the Wiesbaden State Theater . Where he led with great success with audiences and press the entire ring of Richard Wagner . Furthermore, he conducted a. a.
