Marcin Sieber (born January 31, 1996 in Lichtenstein ) is a German soccer player . The central defender is under contract with regional league club VfB Auerbach .

Career

Sieber began his career in 2002 at SV 1861 Ortmannsdorf and from 2005 played for SG Motor Thurm . In February 2008 he switched to the youth team at FC Erzgebirge Aue . On December 12, 2014, he made his debut in a 1-1 draw against 1. FC Heidenheim in the 2nd Bundesliga . On April 22, 2015, he was first used for the second team in the Oberliga NOFV-Süd . In the 88th minute he headed the goal to make it 2-0. In his first season Sieber came to three second division appearances and rose at the end of the season with the team in the third division .

On June 18, 2015, Sieber extended his contract in Aue for two years. He was not used in the 2015/16 season , but rose as part of the squad with the team in the 2nd Bundesliga. At the end of January 2017, he was awarded to the regional league team VfB Auerbach until the end of the season and then firmly committed.
