Marco Paulo Coimbra de Abreu (born December 8, 1974 in Sá da Bandeira ) is a former Angolan football player .

Abreu came to Portugal with his parents at the beginning of the Angolan civil war when he was two . Here denied full back his entire career in which he never played higher than in the second division. During his time at Portimonense SC (2005 to 2007) he became a national player. His nomination at the age of 31 came in response to the suspension of former regular player Yamba Asha , who was convicted of doping in 2005 . In 2006 he played three international matches and took part with Angola in the Africa Cup and the World Cup in Germany . Abreu was not used when Angola took part in a World Cup for the first time and was eliminated with his team after the preliminary round.
