Marco Hiller (born February 20, 1997 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at FC Grün-Weiß Gröbenzell , he moved to the youth department of TSV 1860 Munich in summer 2008 . After first guarding the goal for the second team, he fought for his regular place in the goal of the lions from the beginning of the 2017/18 season. His team finished the 2017/18 season in 1st place and narrowly prevailed in the promotion games against 1. FC Saarbrücken and thus rose to the 3rd division .

After the promotion, Hiller made his debut in the 3rd division on August 31, 2018, when he came on as a substitute for the injured Hendrik Bonmann in the 54th minute of a 2-0 home win against Energie Cottbus on the 6th matchday . Hiller remained a regular goalkeeper in the season and completed 33 games. For the 2019/20 season he lost his place in goal again to Bonmann.
