Dennis Erdmann (born November 22, 1990 in Frechen ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with TSV 1860 Munich .

Career

Erdmann began his active career as a youth soccer player at SpVgg Balkhausen-Brüggen-Türnich in 1919. In 2006 he switched to the youth team at Blau-Weiß Kerpen. In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons he was active for SC Brühl 06/45 and SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 . From 2012 to 2014 he played 55 competitive games (4 goals) in the Regionalliga West for the second team of FC Schalke 04 . In 2014 he moved to the 3rd division for Dynamo Dresden on a free transfer . On July 26, 2014, he played his first competitive game in the third division in a 2-1 win by Dynamo Dresden against VfB Stuttgart II. Erdmann made nationwide headlines at the DFB Cup match on March 3, 2015 against Borussia Dortmund (0-2). Away from the game, he fouled Dortmund's Marco Reus and then played down the foul: "He ran into my knee and got a horse kiss". BVB manager Michael Zorc then said: "He kicks him off the pitch even though the ball wasn't anywhere near. Such a player has no place on the football field, not even in the district class." Dynamo Dresden immediately apologized to Reus and Borussia Dortmund. A short time later, Erdmann also apologized publicly. Reus refrained from filing a charge of dangerous bodily harm against Erdmann despite a request from the public prosecutor. Erdmann's contract, which ran until 2016, was canceled prematurely after the end of the 2014/15 season. His last appearance for Dynamo was on April 26th in the game against MSV Duisburg (0: 2).

For the 2015/16 season he signed a two-year contract with third division club Hansa Rostock . He made his debut for the Kogge on the 1st matchday in the home game against SV Werder Bremen II (1: 2), his first competitive goal for the Mecklenburgers came on the 28th matchday against Holstein Kiel to the decisive 1-0. Erdmann made 32 league appearances and a DFB Cup game in his first season in Rostock (1st round against 1. FC Kaiserslautern 4: 5 a.s.). He was also used four times in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional cup , which he won with Hansa in the final against FC Schönberg 95 after a penalty shoot-out (4: 3).

At the away game in Wiesbaden (1: 1) on November 25, 2016, Erdmann suffered a seven-fold broken nose and a contusion of the eye nerve after a duel with his opponent Philipp Müller , who rammed his shoe into Erdmann's face in an uncontrolled flight. Soaked in blood, he was then replaced by coach Christian Brand in the 31st minute of the game . After two years in the service of the Kogge, 73 competitive games for Hansa in which he scored three goals, the cooperation in Rostock ended at the end of the 2016/17 season.

He then moved to 1. FC Magdeburg , with whom he was able to celebrate promotion to the 2. Bundesliga in his debut season . After he was relegated the following season with the club from Saxony-Anhalt , the crowd favorite moved to TSV 1860 Munich in June 2019 .
