Marco Kaminski (actually Marek Kamiński ; born February 8, 1964 ) is a Swiss marathon runner of Polish origin.

Athletic career

His personal best of 2:14:57 h was achieved in 1991 at the Maratona d'Italia . In total, he was Swiss marathon champion six times (1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001 and 2004).

He had his greatest successes at the Jungfrau Marathon , in which he was victorious five times (1994–1997, 1999). He also won the Ticino marathon five times , the Liechtenstein marathon twice and the Reuss run once , the Winterthur marathon and the marathon around Lake Biel .

He was also the winner of the first Wings for Life World Run 2014 in Switzerland with a distance of 56.51 km.

Marco Kaminski starts for TV Olten, where he also holds the club records in the 5000 and 10,000 meter runs (14: 33.89 min and 29: 56.30 min).
