Marco José Antonio Magnabosco Aguirre (born August 12, 1995 in Asiago ) is an Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Asiago Hockey in the Italian Serie A (then called Serie A1) since the beginning of his career . Since 2016 he has been playing with the club in the Alps Hockey League .

Career

Marco Magnabosco began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Asiago Hockey . He made his Serie A debut at the age of 17 for the club from his hometown . In 2014 and 2016 he won the Italian U20 championship with his club. In 2013 and 2015 he became the Italian men's champion and later in the year he also won the Supercoppa . In the meantime he was loaned out to HC Pergine , for whom he was on the ice in Serie C and, after the promotion in 2014, Serie B. Since 2016 he has been playing with Asiago Hockey in the Alps Hockey League , which he won with his team in 2018.

International

For Italy, Magnabosco took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division I in 2012 and 2013 and the U20 World Championship in Division I in 2015 .

He made his tournament debut in the men's national team at the World Cup Division I in 2016 , when he and his team were promoted to the top division.
