The Ingeborg Bachmann Prize 2016 is the 40th competition for the literature prize as part of the Days of German-Language Literature . The event took place from June 29th to July 3rd, 2016 in the Klagenfurt ORF theater of the Carinthia regional studio . The invited authors were announced on May 24, 2016.
