Ingeborg Bachmann Prize 1981

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 1981 Ingeborg Bachmann Prize was the fifth competition for the literary prize. The reading marathon took place during the week of the encounter in the Klagenfurt town hall.

After the scandal last year , the participating authors were allowed to respond directly to the jury's criticism when discussing the texts. In addition, a prize was shared for the first time with the publisher's grant ; however, the allocation had almost doubled compared to the previous year.
