Ernst Willner

Ernst Willner (born April 14, 1926 in Vienna , † May 26, 1983 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian journalist .

Life

Ernst Willner was ORF director at the ORF regional studio Burgenland (1970–1971) and at the ORF regional studio Carinthia (1978–1983). In 1977 he founded the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize with Humbert Fink and Marcel Reich-Ranicki .

He was buried in the Maria Saal cemetery.

Awards

  • 1983: The Ernst Willner Prize for Literature was named after Ernst Willner .
