Career

Donoval made his international debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in the 1993/94 season . With 26 points, however, he only achieved 127th place overall. In the following season he was able to increase his performance slightly and then gave his debut in the ski jumping World Cup on January 4, 1995 in Innsbruck as part of the Four Hills Tournament 1994/95 . After the first round, he finished 48th and was eliminated. In Bischofshofen , too , he only came in last. Two days later, he was able to improve his performance in World Cup competitions in Willingen , but he was again denied any points. The same thing happened to him in both Engelberg competitions , where he achieved his best individual result to date.

Despite the lack of World Cup success, he was part of the roster for the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1995 in Thunder Bay, Canada . Here he jumped in both individual disciplines, but only achieved 31st place on the normal and 39th place on the large hill. He finished the 1994/95 Continental Cup season in 107th place in the overall standings, as he could only achieve a total of 65 points.

In the 1995/96 season he took part in a team World Cup competition in December 1995 in Planica , where he was eleventh and last with Marián Bielčik , Vladimír Roško and Martin Mesík . Subsequently, Donoval ended his international career.
