Tobias Maehler

Tobias Maehler (born July 7, 1969 in Munich ) is a German actor , director and cultural manager .

life and career

Maehler completed his acting training from 1992 to 1993 at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York and from 1993 to 1997 at the "Ernst-Busch" Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. This was followed by more than ten years of permanent engagements at the Hamburg Thalia Theater, the municipal theaters in Frankfurt am Main, the Staatstheater Braunschweig and the Berliner Ensemble, where he was engaged as an actor and assistant for Peter Stein's Wallenstein project. 2008 to 2010 distance learning cultural management (Diploma 2010). In 2009 Tobias Maehler played in Wilfried Mink's successful production “Endstation Sehnsucht” at the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg. Works for film and television: Derrick , Um Heaven's sake or Polizeiruf 110 . In the TV film World Express - Breathless through Mexico (2011) he played the role of Senor Michaelis alongside Marco Girnth and Sarah Maria Besgen . In 2014/2015 guest appearances followed a. a. in Franz Xaver Bogner's "Munich 7" and SOKO Munich. Tobias Maehler has directed and directed the ensemble ENSEMBLE PERSONA in Munich since 2007. Tobias Maehler has directed the "Drama in Nymphenburg Palace" since 2008.
