Margret Krick

Margarete "Margret" Krick (born December 1, 1926 in Cologne ; † April 5, 2016 ) was a German publisher and entrepreneur .

Career

Margret Krick was born in 1926. After the bombing of Cologne in 1944, she moved to Würzburg . Together with her husband Robert Krick , she built up the Krick industrial and commercial advertising and the Robert Krick Verlag . This laid the foundation for today's Krick corporate family.

She died at the beginning of April 2016 at the age of 89.

In 1992 Margret Krick founded the Robert and Margret Krick Foundation with her husband . "The purpose of the foundation is to contribute to the promotion of youth and elderly care, public health - especially cancer prevention - and the welfare system to support people in need." (From the deed of foundation of the Robert and Margret Krick Foundation, 7 June 1992). With the help of the foundation's capital, considerable amounts could be made available to support charitable institutions in the city of Würzburg.
