Marián Labuda
Marián Labuda (born October 28, 1944 in Hontianske Nemce , Slovakia ; † January 5, 2018 in Bratislava , Slovakia) was a Slovak actor .
Life
Labuda became known to a wide audience in the 1980s through Czechoslovak productions in Western Europe. In his roles, Labuda mainly plays tragic-comic characters. In Germany , Marián Labuda became known in 1985 in Jiří Menzel's homeland, sweet home in his parade role as the constantly annoyed truck driver Pávek and received a special award for this role in Montreal in 1986 . In 1987 Heimat, Süße Heimat received an Oscar nomination for best foreign film .
In 1993 Labuda also played in the ARD production " The Little Vampire - New Adventure " and took on the role of the vampire hunter Geiermeier .
