Marian Dejdar (born August 13, 1983 in Friedberg ) is a German ice hockey player who last played for the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven in the German Ice Hockey League .

Career

Dejdar began his career in the Frankfurt ESC youth team , where he played with the junior team in the German youth league. In the 2000/01 season the winger was for the first time in the squad of the senior team with which he was active in the Regionalliga Hessen . Furthermore, Dejdar was in the same season in the squad of the junior team of the Czech first division club HC Energie Karlovy Vary , for which he completed 22 games and was able to achieve two scorer points. A year later he was on the ice in 24 DEL games for the Frankfurt Lions.

After he could n't prevail in Frankfurt , the right-handed shooter moved to the Mighty Dogs Schweinfurt , with whom he played in the top division from then on . In the Mighty Dogs, the player used as an offensive defender was able to improve continuously and was one of the top defenders in the team in his second season with 20 points in 35 games . Consequently, some DEL scouts became aware of the then 21 year old. After all, it was the management of the Hanover Scorpions that convinced him to be involved in the German Ice Hockey League and then transferred him to Hanover for the 2004/05 season . There Dejdar was given a funding license and was therefore also eligible to play for the cooperation partner REV Bremerhaven .

In the following years, Marian Dejdar played predominantly at REV Bremerhaven in the 2nd Bundesliga . The right-handed shooter was able to celebrate some successes with the penguins . In addition to participating in the play-off semi-finals in 2005 , the attacker and his team were runner-up in the 2nd Bundesliga in 2006 . Furthermore, he reached the semifinals of the German Ice Hockey Cup with the REV in the same year . There they lost 1: 5 against the eventual cup winners, the Adler Mannheim . During this time Dejdar was used in 189 games and scored 79 points scorer. In November 2008 the Hessian decided to switch to the league competitor EV Duisburg due to the lack of prospects in the Lower Saxony state capital . After only half a year there, he announced on May 4, 2009 that he would play for his former club REV Bremerhaven in the 2009/10 season . In 2016 the club acquired a license for the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). In 2017 and 2018 he reached the DEL play-offs with Bremerhaven, but after the end of the 2017/18 game year he did not receive a new contract. From 2004 he played 666 main round matches for the team.
