Marian Józef Ryx
Marian Józef Ryx (born December 10, 1853 in Warsaw , † June 1, 1930 in Sandomierz ) was Bishop of Sandomierz .
Life
In Radom grew up, he joined the after school seminary one of Sandomierz. He studied at the theological academy in St. Petersburg and was ordained a priest on July 20, 1879 . On January 10, 1908 appointed administrator of the Diocese of Sandomierz, Pope Pius X appointed him on April 7, 1910 as Bishop of Sandomierz. He was ordained bishop on June 19, 1910 in St. Petersburg by the Archbishop of Mogilew , Vincent Kluczynski ; Co- consecrators were Stefan Antoni Denisewicz , auxiliary bishop in Mogilew, and Augustyn Łosiński , bishop of Kielce .
He found his final resting place in the crypt of the Cathedral of Sandomierz.
