Marian Kardas (born January 27, 1962 in Włoszczowa ) is a former Polish volleyball player and today's coach.

Career

Marian Kardas played volleyball in his Polish homeland at Płomień Sosnowiec from 1981 to 1990 and won the Polish Cup there in 1985. The universal player then switched to the German Bundesliga and played at Fortuna Bonn , Bayer Wuppertal , VfB Friedrichshafen and SCC Berlin , where he won the DVV Cup in 1996. During this time he was represented several times in the rankings of German volleyball . He later returned to Poland and played for Czarni Radom .

Marian Kardas played 178 times for the Polish national team between 1981 and 2000 .

In 2001 Marian Kardas started his coaching career with the German Bundesliga club VC Eintracht Mendig . From 2004 to 2006 he trained Płomień Sosnowiec. Then he was assistant coach of the Polish women's national team and the women of AZS Białystok . Since 2008 he has been assistant trainer for the men at Delecta Bydgoszcz .
