Marianne Hammerl (born May 8, 1959 in Oberhausen ; † February 23, 2008 in Regensburg ) was a German psychologist .

Life

In 1984 she passed her diploma in psychology in Düsseldorf . On January 25, 1991, he completed his doctorate at the University of Düsseldorf on the topic of effects of signaled amplification. An experimental contribution to the basics of learning psychology . In 1991 she was the winner of the funding award for science of the state capital Düsseldorf. Hammerl completed his habilitation in 1999 at the University of Düsseldorf on the subject of “The operationalization effect. On the Influence of Research Strategy on Findings in Experimental Psychology ”.

From 2002 to 2008 she held the professorship for psychology at the University of Regensburg , with a focus on social psychology , work and organizational psychology as well as psychology as part of the educational studies for teachers.

Hammerl was a liaison professor at the “Bavarian Elite Academy” and scientific director at the “Center for Further Education Regensburg” from January 1, 2006 until she died. She was also the chair of the jury for the prize for science journalism of the German Society for Psychology eV and women's representative at the University of Regensburg .
