Marijan Bašić

Marijan Bašić (born August 6, 1986 in Split , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian handball player . It is mainly used in the backcourt position.

Life

The 1.88-meter-tall right-hander played for three years for the Slovenian first division club RD Ribnica and moved from there to the German second division club TuS Ferndorf in February 2013 . Before that he was also active for the Croatia Split club. In September Marijan Bašić signed a contract with the Stralsund HV , with which he made promotion to the third division . In February 2015 he joined the second division TSV Bayer Dormagen , with whom he managed to stay in the 2nd handball Bundesliga; for the 2015/16 season, Bašić extended his contract with TSV Bayer Dormagen for one year. In November 2015, the club announced the immediate separation from Marijan Bašić, who had asked for an early termination of the contract. Marijan Bašić was immediately signed by TuS Ferndorf, who also played in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the summer of 2016 he joined ART Düsseldorf . In December 2016, he moved to the Neuss AGM . For the 2017/18 season he returned to TuS Ferndorf. From summer 2020 he will be under contract at HSG Krefeld .

Marijan Bašić is a graduate mechanical engineer .
