Lucas Puhl (born July 2, 1992 in Gummersbach ) is a German handball player .

Career

Puhl played at VfL Gummersbach from 1998 . During his youth, Lucas Puhl was among other things German B youth runner-up in 2009. Since 2012, the 1.91 meter tall handball goalkeeper has played with VfL's second team in the third division . At the same time he was part of the first team's squad and made his first appearance in the handball Bundesliga in the 2012/13 season .

In the 2011/12 season Puhl was part of the Gummersbach squad in the European Cup Winners' Cup , but was not used there.

For the 2014/15 season, Puhl moved to third division club TuS Ferndorf . In 2015 and 2018 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with Ferndorf .
