Marin Šego (born August 2, 1985 in Mostar ) is a Croatian handball goalkeeper .

The 1.94 meter tall and 93 kilogram goalkeeper was under contract with HC Croatia Osiguranje-Zagreb from 2008 . Before that he played with RK Izviđac Ljubuški, MRK Zrinski Mostar, again with HRK Izviđac Ljubuški and then with RK Perutnina Pipo IPC Čakovec . With these clubs he played in the EHF Challenge Cup (2004/2005, 2007/2008), in the EHF Champions League (2002/2003, 2005/2006, 2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011, 2011/2012) and in the EHF Cup (2003/2004, 2006/2007). In the summer of 2012, Šego moved to the Polish first division club Wisła Płock . For the 2014/15 season he joined league rivals KS Vive Kielce . With Kielce he won the Polish Cup in 2015 and 2016, the championship in 2015 and 2016 and the EHF Champions League in 2016. From the summer of 2016 he was under contract with the Hungarian first division club Pick Szeged . With Szeged he won the Hungarian Championship in 2018 and the Hungarian Cup in 2019. Since the summer of 2019 he has been playing for the French first division club Montpellier Handball .

Marin Šego has played 41 international matches so far and is part of the Croatian national team , for example for the 2014 European handball championship .
