Marina Sumić (born August 18, 1991 in Split ) is a Croatian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 62 kilograms.

Sumić has been taking part in international competitions since 2005. In her first title fights, the Junior World Championship in Vietnam in 2006 , she won the bronze medal in the class up to 49 kilograms. The following year she also won bronze at the European Junior Championships in Baku . The year 2010 was successful for Sumić. In Kharkiv she was junior European champion in the class up to 62 kilograms, in the adult sector she made her debut at the European Championships in Saint Petersburg and moved into the quarter-finals, where she was eliminated by Haby Niaré . Sumić made his final breakthrough in the international top at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju . In the class up to 62 kilograms, she beat Karine Sergerie in the semifinals and won the silver medal after a final defeat against Rangsiya Nisaisom . She also made it to the final at the 2012 European Championships in Manchester and won silver again after losing to Marlène Harnois .

Sumić came to Taekwondo at the age of six. She starts for the Zagreb Metalac TK club and is trained by Marko Novak. She studies veterinary medicine at the University of Zagreb .
