The naval base command Wilhelmshaven (abbr .: MStpKdo WHV) is an office of the German Navy at the naval base Heppenser Groden in Wilhelmshaven . It emerged in 2003 from the former Naval Section Command West and has been subordinate to the Operational Flotilla 2 in Wilhelmshaven since October 1, 2012 .

The command leads the naval base Heppenser Groden and is also responsible for the logistical support of fleet units in local waters and operational areas.
The naval base command Wilhelmshaven provides
- the barracks commanders of the Heppenser Groden naval base as well as
- the port master who is responsible for the operation and security of the military port,
- one shipyard support train each in Hamburg and Schwanewede as well
- a unit of civil education and training (ZAW) in Sengwarden .
The commander of the naval base command is also the site elder .
