The naval base command Wilhelmshaven (abbr .: MStpKdo WHV) is an office of the German Navy at the naval base Heppenser Groden in Wilhelmshaven . It emerged in 2003 from the former Naval Section Command West and has been subordinate to the Operational Flotilla 2 in Wilhelmshaven since October 1, 2012 .
