Marino Lars Richard Rahmberg (born August 7, 1974 in Örebro ) is a former Swedish football player . He is now a manager at Örebro SK .
Career
Rahmberg played in his youth at BK Forward . In 1995 he moved to Denmark to Lyngby FC , but where he could not prevail. Therefore, he returned to Sweden the following year. At Degerfors IF he won a regular place and attracted the attention of foreign clubs with 13 goals this season. In January 1997 Rahmberg moved on loan to the English first division club Derby County , where the strikers Ashley Ward and Marco Gabbiadini were injured. The club offered a three-year contract in the event that he could prevail. However, he did not succeed in convincing even at his second foreign station and he only appeared once for the club. After ten weeks he returned to DIF, where he was again regularly used, but could not build on his previous accuracy.
In January 1998, AIK signed a contract with Rahmberg . However, he could not fight for a regular place at the club from Solna in the long run . After a year and a half, during which he became Swedish champion in 1998 and contributed to winning the Swedish Cup in 1999 , he moved to Raufoss IL in Norway . This time he made his breakthrough abroad and in four years he has consistently been one of the top scorers in the league. In the summer of 2002 he returned to Sweden again and was still under contract with IFK Göteborg for a year and a half , but was only used sporadically. In 2003 he ended his career because of back problems. In 2007 he played one more season for the amateur club Mellringe Eker IF .
Rahmberg made his debut on February 9, 1997 as part of the King's Cup in the Swedish national team , when Romania was defeated 2-0 in Bangkok . As part of the tournament, he was used in three other games, but could not enter himself in the list of goalscorers. The 3-1 final victory over the Thai selection on February 16 was his last international appearance.
At the end of his career in 2003, Rahmberg moved to the management of IFK Göteborg. After two years he moved to Örebro SK as a manager.
