Marion Hansel
Marion Hänsel (born February 12, 1949 in Marseille , Bouches-du-Rhône , France as Maria Ackermann ; † June 8, 2020 ) was a Belgian actress , screenwriter , film producer and film director .
Life
Hansel received acting lessons at the Actors Studio in New York City , and later she attended a circus school to train as a tightrope walker.
First she worked as an actress in the works of Agnès Varda and other filmmakers . She soon started making her own films. Her auteur films address the coldness of the modern world and its human communication problems , which can even be self-destructive.
End of January 2020 dedicated the Festival international du film de Rotterdam Brussels filmmaker comprehensive rather end retrospective.
