Maritime is a region of Togo with the capital Lomé .

The region is located in the south of the country and borders the Plateaux region in the north, the Atlantic Ocean in the south, Ghana in the west and Benin in the east .

Maritime is divided into the prefectures of Ave, Golfe, Lacs, Vo, Yoto, Zio and the city of Lomé .
