Mark Burg
Mark Burg (* in Hartsdale , New York ) is an American television and film producer .
Life
Mark Burg was the chairman of Island Pictures in the early 1990s and produced many films, including Strictly Business in 1991 in which Halle Berry had her first leading role. In 1998, Mark Burg and Oren Koules founded the company Evolution Entertainment , which produces TV films and series. Six years later he founded the production company Twisted Pictures with Koules and Gregg Hoffman , which eventually took over the production of the successful Saw film series. In 2007, Burg and his company partner Koules received the ShoWest Award in the Excellent Production category for the production of Saw.
Burg was married to the actress Troy Beyer .
