The waitresses who are friends, Nisi and Mickey, live in Georgia . You dream of opening a hairdresser's shop that also serves soul food .
To raise the money for the store, Nisi and Mickey go to Los Angeles to cast a music video. Your appearance will be unsuccessful. The women later take care of the older, wealthy Donald Blakemore, who is related to a producer of the music videos. Blakemore is getting his past joie de vivre back.
Reviews
Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times on March 28, 1997 that the film was so bad that language stayed away. He wondered why those involved were willing to participate. Martin Landau played his role with “ charm ” and “ great dignity ”, which, however, were wrong at this point.
Richard Propes wrote on www.independentcritics.com that the film should never have been made. He never wanted to see him again. Just a few more casual giggles would save the comedy from " total and total " bankruptcy.
