Mark Covell (born November 7, 1967 in Glasgow ) is a former British sailor from Scotland .
successes
Mark Covell took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney with Ian Walker in the Star boat class . Just one point behind, they won the silver medal behind the Americans Magnus Liljedahl and Mark Reynolds and ahead of the Brazilians Marcelo Ferreira and Torben Grael . 1997 in Key Biscayne and 2003 in Bénodet he was in the 5.5 meter class each champion . During the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-2009 he was a crew member of Team Russia and was responsible for media relations.
