Mark Jeffrey Reynolds (born November 2, 1955 in San Diego ) is a former American sailor .

Mark Reynolds of the San Diego Yacht Club began his international career in the Snipe class , where he won gold at the Pan-American Games and the Kieler Woche in 1979 . His father Jim Reynolds , who was part of Dennis Conner's world championship team in 1971 , acted as coach . He achieved his greatest successes with the star . In 1986, 2000 and 2002 he won at the Kieler Woche and in 1986 at the Goodwill Games . Best Merits winning the silver medal at the were 1988 Summer Olympics from Seoul with Hal Haenel and the gold medal in 1992 in Barcelona again Haenel and again in 2000 with Magnus Liljedahl in Sydney . Only in 1996 at the games in his home country in Atlanta , the sailor from San Diego missed a medal in eighth place.
