Philip Bryn Vaile , MBE (born August 16, 1956 in London ) is a former British sailor .
successes
Bryn Vaile took part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul with Michael McIntyre in the Star boat class . With two wins in a total of seven races and 45.7 total points, they finished the regatta with 2.3 points ahead of the Americans Mark Reynolds and Hal Haenel and Nelson Falcão and Torben Grael from Brazil, making them Olympic champions .
For his Olympic success he was made a member of the Order of the British Empire . Vaile is married and has two children.
