Max Salminen (born September 22, 1988 in Lund ) is a Swedish sailor .

successes

Max Salminen took part in two Olympic Games . In 2012 he and Fredrik Lööf became Star in the boat class in London with a total of 32 points ahead of the British and Brazilian boat Olympic champions . After the games he switched to the Finn Dinghy boat class , in which he also competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and finished the regatta in sixth place. The following year he became world champion at Balaton , and in 2018 he won the silver medal in Aarhus .
