Mark Frank

Mark Frank (born June 21, 1977 in Neustrelitz ) is a former German javelin thrower .

He became German champion in javelin throwing in 2009 and took part in the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , in Berlin in 2009 and in Daegu in 2011 . He finished eighth in all three world championships. In 2012 he took part in the European Championships in Helsinki , but missed the norm for participation in the Olympic Games in London that year. He ended his career in September 2013. Mark Frank started for the 1st LAV Rostock and was trained by Ralf Skopnik. He had his best performance of 84.88 m in 2005 at the ISTAF in Berlin.
