Mark Shannon (actually Manlio Cersosimo ; * 1942 in Rome ; † 2018 ) was an Italian actor and porn actor .

The son of a well-known judge met the former Miss Italy Anna Vincenzini in 1961 , whom he married two years later. In the same year, through the mediation of his uncle Rino Merolle , he shot his first film in one of his productions, Vino, whisky e acqua salata . Few other offers followed. After attempts in the banking industry and as a restaurant owner in Brazil, he appeared in Roberto Mauri's Le porno killers in 1978 and then shot numerous hardcore films under the pseudonym chosen after a protagonist of a novel by Frederick Forsyth . He also had a few roles in mainstream cinema, including leading roles, under Joe D'Amato ; several horror films, in which he partly also took part in porn hardcore scenes, achieved above-average awareness. Between phases of film engagement, Shannon worked as a tourism entrepreneur in Tanzania and (from 1984 to 1988) in the Seychelles . Then he continued this work in his hometown. Smaller screenplay work for television connected him with his time as an actor.
